Observations from Uppsala

I admit to using Facebook more recently… I used to feel “what is the point”… but now I might be starting to see it. Anyway, a Facebook friend pointed out that you can set the UI to a language called “English (Pirate)”, which is pretty funny in use.

At the bottom of the main content pane, next to the copyright notice, there is a clickable link with your current language setting. Click it and you see:

The result looks like this:

And I know that Google has been doing this since forever. Still, it is funny when done right.
